process + faq's

* Does Foxy & Winston print work for other designers?

No, only our own custom designs.

* what types of projects do you create?

all things Wedding, birth announcements, personal stationery, business cards and custom illustrations.

* Will you work with our wedding/event planner?

absolutely! we work alongside planners more often than not these days and find it a helpful way to stay on track!

* Do you do any other types of printing?

letterpress printing only with the exception of wedding "Day of" and "Tabletop" printing which can be done digitally.

* what is your minimum quantity for letterpress printing?

50 pieces, pricing goes up incrementally in 25's, for example if you need 65 you will order 75 and so on..

* What is your turnaround for design and printing?

In order to comfortably manage workload, 2 weeks for design back and forth, then 10 business days for printing. 

* what sort of printing materials do you work with?

rubber based inks on Cranes or Arturo 100% cotton, tree-free rag stock.

* can we meet to look at samples in person?

Most meetings take place on skype or via conference call these days for the convenience of everyone's busy schedules, however an in person meeting is possible for a $275 fee - this deposit will be deducted from your final invoice when all projects are complete. Should the project be canceled the deposit will not be refunded.

4 simple steps

Step 1: During our meeting we'll discuss ink colors, font and paper choices. We will look over our letterpress samples and talk about your event and design inspirations.  A helpful way to share your ideas with us is to create a Pinterest Board. 

Step 2:  a formal estimate is created and sent to you based on our meeting. Once you are ready to commence a 50% non-refundable down payment is required before the design process begins.

Step 3:  You will receive your first or three rounds of proofs within 2 weeks of deposit (unless it's agreed the event is too far out to commence). Any slight changes (type, text, color) will be made without charge. Any major changes (re-draw, recreate) will incur a $30.00 charge each time. 

Step 4: Your project is either drop shipped to you, ready for you to address, stamp and mail out. or leave it all to us - for a fee, we'll take care of it for you and offer either lazer address printing or a local calligrapher that we work closely with. both require a spreadsheet of your guest list, so be ready!
