This Project began with a small photocopy of Ganesha being brought to me at the Shop. The plan was to take this as an inspiration for a hand printed Wedding Program for a very nice Red Hook couple - Sonal and Keith. I designed an Indian flower motif and created a repeat pattern from it. Made two panels (from and back of program) and re-drew Ganesha adding a few extra bits of detail and placed it center front on the book. I shot the double screen hand printed 100 programs and then scored them down the center. Inside the program were 6 pages of beautiful Indian Ceremonial instruction for the guests to follow (I used a border design of the same flower motif to tie it all together). Once everything was printed and scored, I assembled them but binding them together with a deep scarlet satin ribbon. Voila!
