Hi Foxy friends - it’s that time of year…and over here at F&W we are working up a storm on custom holiday cards, listening to carols and dreaming about what we’ll give our friends and family this holiday season. In the process, we thought, what better way to introduce you to all our new and wonderful things than to put together a GREAT gift guide made up of things to gift give from our shop!  Starting on December 1, we’ll release one item every day for each and every special person in your life.  Also, as an added incentive, the featured item will be discounted 10% in the shop the same day it’s released! Wooo WHOO!

In the mean time, check out our new holiday cards which can be purchased in box sets or singles…we look forward to seeing you this holiday season!

We here at Foxy & Winston hope you had a lovely and cozy Thanksgiving - surrounded by friends and family.  We have so much to be thankful for around here and we are sincerely looking forward to this holiday season.  We’re rolling out LOADS of new items (and please keep checking back in, we’ll be revealing our Foxy & Winston gift guide beginning December 1).

We wanted to share our whereabouts over the next few week, gearing up to the New Year.    Please stop by and say hello and shop for holiday gifts!

Besides being in the shop in Red Hook, you can find us:

And here’s a sneak peek at some of the lovely new items you’ll find from Foxy & Winston!

Oy Sandy, Enough Already...!

Jessica VanderbergComment

It’s pretty clear that Red Hook won’t be the same for quite a while.  Every day we are saddened by a neighbor’s devastating story and learn of more and more losses due to Sandy. There are a few things people can do to help us recover quicker; one is shop locally, and by local I mean in Red Hook.  Another is donate to the Restore Red Hook fund that will benefit the most damaged businesses in the neighborhood. We will be forever grateful for your patronage and support - especially as we close in on the holidays.

Here are a list of business that are up and running this week (besides us!):

Williams-Sonoma Artisan Marketplace

We’ve been very lucky, as of late, to be part of many different markets and fairs.  It’s so great being part of these gatherings as we get to meet many fellow talented artisans and get our brand out .  We are looking forward to this upcoming Saturday - we get to be a part of Williams-Sonoma Artisan Marketplace.  Please come to Columbus Circle’s Williams-Sonoma and visit us this Saturday, November 3rd…we’ll be featured with our new aprons (for kids and adults!), tea towels, napkins and boxed stationery!

Hurricane Sandy

Just wanted to report that we are here at Foxy & Winston are safe and sound.  We have no power, and cannot anticipate when it will be back, so please be patient with us as we get situated.  The shop and studio were very fortunate to escape relatively unscathed.

The same cannot be said for some of our neighbors and our hearts and thoughts go out to them.  Red Hook is a very small and close community and when one of neighbors is down, we all are.  Please send all your best wishes to those in Red Hook who were badly affected by this storm.

In the mean time, here is Jane escaping with Hope on Monday morning!
